Hi. I am Amruta. I was born and raised up in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. I am a former lawyer from Maharashtra, India. I currently live in Virginia, USA with my husband. Cooking is my passion and I love to experiment with new recipes as well as improvise the old ones with my own twist. There is a Marathi phrase that I like a lot – ‘SUKHACHA GHAS” – it means blissful morsel. I like people around me to have that experience with every bite of the food I prepare. When not cooking in my kitchen, I like spending time with my family and friends. I explore new places while indulging to my hearts content in my other passion – photography. Trying new restaurants and food-joints while educating myself about the different cultures and ingredients of that place fills me with new ideas. Food has a way to bring people together in a positive way. So relax and smile and let’s cook together.
