Food Photographer, Creative Director, Stylist and Influencer, Hein van Tonder is a native South African with a combination of local, continental and global creative experience, now working as a Food Photographer in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, creating imagery and content for a wide range of clients. His work includes commercial and editorial photography and videography, recipe development, creative direction, cooking in the kitchen and global tasting of all things food, lifestyle and interiors, always contributing to and featuring his work across popular magazines, cookbooks, blogs, websites and social media accounts for clients across the globe. He was awarded Highly Commended in the global Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition in 2022, 2020 and 2019 having won the Food Bloggers category in 2017. This was the 8th time van Tonder has been a finalist in this world-respected food photography competition, being shortlisted each year since 2015.
