Field Roast Weeknight Quick Recipie

I love experimenting in the kitchen with different cooking methods and cuisine. Asked by Field Roast to create a quick weeknight recipe, I came up with this delicious no-knead pan pizza using their tasty vegan sausage and CHAO vegan cheese. When working with vegan cheese I find that it usually doesn't melt like dairy cheese. I like to create a sauce using two tablespoons of any flavorless plant-based milk and the vegan cheese at a low simmer just enough to melt down the cheese before I drizzle it over my pizza toppings and before it goes into the oven.
I always enjoy collaborating, and this assignment was precisely that. Because of Covid and the supply chain issues, the client and I decided that I would create the recipe, prepare, style, and shoot the pizza without the product. I sent the base image back to Edelman, where the team added the Fied Roast sausage and cheese. Finally, Edelman returned the modified image to me for additional image editing and final touches.
