Early on in my food photography career, I photographed a ton of sweets because my biggest clients were bakeries. As I have diversified my portfolio and tear sheet I wanted to add more holistic and healthy foods to my scenes. After some time, I finally went down to my local farmers' market and found veggies that stood out to me to create this shot.

For this shot, I worked with a stylist/chef to pick out the food. We both went to my local farmer's market and picked vegetables that stood out and complimented each other. The best part about getting the food from the farmer's market was we knew it was fresh, but at the same time, the vegetables were absurdly dirty because they were so fresh. The longest part about the shoot was washing and then drying all of the veggies.
