There has been so much talk in '23 about the impact AI will have on the future of photography. However as some have pointed out, there are also opportunities. The ability to use AI to create scenes or backdrops are just one way we can use this new "tool" as part of creative. This was a concept that has been rolling around in my head for a while, so I decided make some time and play. The scene and funky retro robot bartender were all generated in MidJourney. I lit the bottle to match and then composited the two together in post.
It's definitely a process. There is TONS of fits and starts, especially when it comes to creating a final image in AI that matches your vision. Thinking down the line, and when it comes to using it in a project for a client, how that portion of job will be billed is something that will need to be figured out. It is a time consuming process. On the plus side, I shared it on social & the client LOVED it.
