This is a test shot from years ago… it still makes me hungry. We were trying to shoot something to share with clients that showed a trendy look with lots of close up details. For the success of this sandwich shot, ingredient placement was everything. Making an egg yolk have the perfect drip in a predetermined location is pretty challenging. You have to use every trick you can quickly, so the lettuce does not wilt in the hot lights. Using a farm fresh egg can make all the difference, because of the rich color and creamy texture. Making sure everything for the shot is perfect before breaking the egg yolk is key, i.e. lighting, the perfect shine and seed placement on the bagel, prop placement, etc…
