i created this video to show how beautifully contrasting liquids of different densities mix. I experimented with various dilutions of coffee to get the desired transparency for light effects. I played with different creams and milk discovering how they swirled into the coffee.

High speed highly animated imaginative video of hot coffee and cream pouring shots with steam, using the phantom camera and motion control robots. Food stylist and art director Marilinda Hodgdon, Director/DP/Phantom Operator Steve Romano, Editor/MOCO operator Topher Maslanka, lighting by JD Moll, assistance by Andrew Peister.
