This project was inspired by Jackson Pollock. One day I was emptying out the contents of my refrigerator at the studio. It felt like such a shame to throw all the food out without using it when inspiration struck. The idea was simple, could I make art with these materials. I placed a 4x4 sheet of white plexiglass on the floor. I started with chocolate, strawberry, and microwaved peanut butter. The second I started I knew I was onto something. The result was this series.
Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unlikely places. This series is a great example;
