Creative Style
This project involved styling and photographing raw meat, which can be difficult to do and have it look eye appealing. Throughout my photography work I put a strong emphasis on lighting each item in a way that is flattering and highlights the colors and textures. I will oftentimes use multiple lights and regularly change my lighting setup for each new shot as necessary.
Working with raw meat was something new for me and I had to learn to work with it using very little food manipulation, since I could not cook it or coat it in a sauce, but rather just show its natural colors and textures through my use of lighting.
